Our Organization
 

Friends of the Fox was organized in 1982 in response to information that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intended to abandon the entire Fox River System. 

 

Concerned citizens joined forces to protest this move, then formally organized to carry greater weight with local, state, and federal government representatives. 

 

Funds contributed to Friends of the Fox are used to inform local, state and federal officials of the problems facing the Fox River System.  They know that we will not allow them to compromise on the issues facing this critical resource.
