2013 Locks schedule
The Fox River Navigational System Authority is giving notice to all navigational interests that the following Fox River locks will be open for the recreational navigational season at 10 a.m. on May 10, 2013.
BELOW ARE PRINT OUTS WHICH WILL ALLOW YOU TO KEEP COPIES IN YOUR BOAT OF BOTH THE LOCKS AND BRIDGES SCHEDULES.

Seasonal Unlimited Recreational and Commercial Transit Permit - $120.00 Multi-Vessel Season Unlimited Recreational Transit Permit - (for those owning more than 1 boat, decal for each boat). 2 Vessels - $140.00 (each additional vessel over 2) - $20 Daily Limited Transit Permit (Based on boat length) Under 26 Feet - $6.00 25 Feet and greater - $12.00 Inquiries can be addressed to the FRNSA Kaukaun office at 920-759-9833 Information Provided by the Fox River Navigational System Authority |
Fox Locks Vessel Lockage Procedures

Upon approacing lock at a safe and slow speed, locktender will direct timing and placement of all vessels into and out of the lock chamber.

Personal Floatation Devices (PFD) are recommended for all passengers. Children 13 years old and younger are required by Federal Law to wear a PFD while aboard recreational vessels underway.
- A bow and stern safety line is required for all motor powered vessels. Both safety lines must be attended at all times and are never to be tied to any vessel.
Turn engine off while in the lock.

Operators should have vessel information and fee readily available to the locktender.

All operators must be able to control their vessel in a safe and sober manner.

Failure to adhere to the above quidelines may result in a refusal of lockage and/or notification of law enforcement authorities.
2013 Call-In Procedure
To schudule additional commercial or recreational lock operations, please call 920-202-1853 twelve hours in advance. In addition to vessel lockage fees, an hourly fee is due before lockage begins.

During the off season, all operable bridges in the system can be opened if at least twelve (12) hours notice is given. Railroad bridges and highway lift bridges can be operational and available in non-operating house prior to April 19, 2013 and after October 6, 2013.
